I know, I know, I know...that I seriously had almost neglecting my blog.  Sometimes I do feel like wanted to update something but...you know, it's just kind of hard to break this habit.  *sigh*

Well, in case you were wondering what am I up to, all that I can say that I am doing pretty much the same thing I did...paintball trainings...and yes, next month I will be playing for a tournament in Kuching, my first speedball tournament in the country with a team that will made it's debut that day (will announce it as soon as it's making appearance lah *so perasan la AngeLBeaR...* .

Being someone who just picking up playing...after being a referee for years, I know that I had to work extra hard for it.  Ya lah kan...orang stand pun tak betul, how la?

But I do grateful that I still had people around me that never give up to train me, and telling me the things that I need to improve more.  Friends that never stop giving me support.

2 markers that I am currently using to train.
Top one I named it Mr. Mac (belongs to Ari, in which I had it with me for safekeeping for the time being)
bottom is Ms-T (short form for Tsunami, the model name of the marker)

Most of my sifu's (yes, I trained with more than just 1 player) told me that I am improving - which is a good thing, right?  But somehow, I still feel like there is more to achieve, and I am still searching for it.

Anyway, makan-makan is not excluded in my activities.

A visit to Kah Hiong Ngau Chap Restaurant won't complete with these delicious 'ngau chap' or beef noodle soup. =)

Love this shot of the Taiwanese couple.

So, some of you were wondering what I had actually done recently.  Last December, a friend of mine asked me if I can assist her for a local drama.

The tv-documentary drama entitled 'Planet Kiara' is consist of 26 episodes altogether, in which the first episode has already on air yesterday in TV3.  Some of the scenes was taken in various places in Sabah and yours truly here is one of the production team for the state for this drama - that explains why I went almost hiatus from the net the week before Christmas.

Well...here's some of the photos taken during the 6 days shooting period:

If you are in my Facebook, you can check out my full photo album there.

Want to know more about 'Planet Kiara'?  Check out every Thursday, 6:30pm in TV3.
Atkinson Clock Tower - photo courtesy from Heritage Sabah's Facebook.

1903, Jesselton Town.

An all wood, no nail clock tower was build in a small hill overlooking the then small town called Jesselton in memory of the first popular district officer of Jesselton that served during the British North Borneo Chartered Company Administration named Francis George Atkinson, who succumbed to tropical disease at a young age of 28.

Time flies. The structure had survived the destruction of Jesselton Town during World War II, now the oldest standing structure in Sabah, under the Antiquity and History Section of Sabah Museum, this building still serves to keep the time.

2010, Kota Kinabalu City.

Now, it was said that a shopping mall will be build where the structure stands. Which means, another piece of history will be gone.

Another shopping mall. Among of all things that people in Kota Kinabalu needed, another shopping mall to be build there. I do hope that anyone who is involved with this project will move your so called shopping mall somewhere. We don't need anymore shopping malls. We want an improved public transport system.

Please keep the clock tower where it is.

Dear Mr. Mayor, what say you?

Update @9:32pm:

It was said that the tower will not be removed or relocated but the progress will still be done adjacent to the clock, called Atkinson Tower. Supposed to be some hotel, gallery, mall to be build. (Check here: http://www.atkinsontower.com/vision.aspx)

Good if there is no damage done to the clock. However, I would prefer the place to be turn into a park with the clock in the middle and a small gallery opened next to it that shows the history of Jesselton, just like the Chimney Museum in Labuan.

Well, that's just my own thoughts la...others know what is better for the place and for the city better than I do. But I do know one thing, there other people out there just like me that love to see our historical building to be preserved for our future generations to see and know the story of the ground that they are stepping on.
