This is Si Pipit.  It's very hard to get her to stay still and took a proper pose (this one, is by luck and the quick snap).  Named her 'Pipit' because when I first picked her from the back of the restaurant last year, she was the smallest among the three - Zoey, Socky (RIP) and her.  The name 'Pipit' inspired from the little small brown bird named 'Pipit' that mostly can be found in paddy fields.  But looking at the size now...hahahaha...but nonetheless, she is one of my precious!  ^_^V
A Facebook friend tagged me in this photo that she sometime ago.

This photo is taken when she was waiting for a relative outside the Queen Elizabeth Hospital ICU ward.  It was at 4am in the morning.  Then she spotted this man, covered this kitty with a piece of cloth before dozed off for a shut eye.

Mind you, this is not his cat.  The kitty is one of the strays that lives around the hospital area - and this man covered him so the kitty won't get cold, while he himself slept in bare feet and no blanket whatsoever around him.

There is nothing wrong to show a little kindness to God's creatures.

Christmas is all about love, kindness and hope.  May the simple gesture of this man remind us to help those in need and be kind.  =)

For love of stray dogs and cats, Ha Weijin from China has willingly give up her job, sold her house and car to take care of 1500 dogs and 200 cats.

To date, she has her own private animal centre, 10 workers to take care of dogs and 2 more to take care of the cats.  However, the Chinese goverment officials had since forced her shelter to close down as the land has been claimed and she had found a new place in Houyu village - and now all she needs is to figure out how to move the dogs and cats via four buses and had to clean the buses afterwards.

As for food, Ms. Han is luckily to received donations from the public to feed the animals, and she admits it is hard to keep the shelter going with her limited resources as there is no help from the local authorities.  However, that is not a reason for Ms. Han to stop from doing what she could for the dogs and cats in her care.

Wow....and comparing with what I did to the cats now, I am just a small pea comparing with her.  May God Bless you, Ms. Han for your kindness to His creations.

My name is Buyut.

A week ago, I was found running away from something scary one dark, rainy night.
As I was running, I disturbed one mean homeless dog (like me) from his sleep.
Almost got killed by the dog when suddenly a lady shouted and scared the doggy away.
I was scared at this fierce lady at first because she seems meaner than the doggy (or else, how come the doggy ran away from her?), but she assured me that she meant no harm to me.

Despite my horrible smell for living out of dumpster for quite some time, she picked me up and held me close, wrapped me in her raincoat and showed me to another guy who came with her.  I feel sorry for staining her nice shirt but she didn't mind.  They then took me to this warm place with other cats surrounding me with curious look on their faces.  They wanted to make friends with me, but I'm so scared of this new surroundings that even though I was placed in a cage to temporarily separate me from them, I tried to be as fierce as I could to tell them that I am not an easy bully target.  But the lady fierce lady understood, put some food and water in my cage and cover it with her raincoat so the other cats can't get a peek of me - and I can get some peace for a while, away from these curious cats and kittens.

The next day, another lady bring me to this place, where I saw lots of cats and dogs wailing in fear and pain.  Some looks happy though.  Nice uniformed ladies attended me, and a smiling lady in white robe examined me.  She said something about 'operation'...I wonder what is that.  They kept on mentioning some stuff about my ears.  I knew my ears is different from the other cats I saw last night. Mine is completely swollen at both ears from the inside...and I thought that was normal.

After the operation, they returned and bring me back to the same place last night.  Feels weird with stitches on my ears but they told me it's for my own good.  I like it here.  The other cats love to make friends with me, and the nice people that lives with them.  I wish other cats out there will be as lucky as I am.

Author's Note:
Buyut is the latest cat I rescued last week.  Found almost got mauled alive by a stray dog, he was found to have infections on both his ears - swollen badly that we had to get it operated to get all the puss out.  I wonder how much suffering this little one endure have I not found him sooner. - AngeLBeaR

This is Girl-Girl.  Couple weeks ago, I found her wandering aimlessly in front at the corridor beneath our proshop amidst the people walking passed by, ignoring her.  Lost and hungry, I just took her in.  Now, she's living happily in our proshop among 10 more other cats.

I wonder...how come people can simply ignore this cute little kitten?

If some people had the heart to throw away babies, they should think it's a no problem for them to throw this little kitten too.

My SIL sent me an SMS this morning, told me that the cleaning lady at her work place heard a kitten wailing in the dumpster. True enough, she found this poor little kitten, apparently still weaning but been purposedly threw inside the deep dumpster among the trash, leaving it to die of hunger and thirst. Luckily it meowed so loud that it was heard, rescued.

The kitten is much more smaller than the 3 kittens I adopted couple months ago (see post here. Owh, I named the 3 kittens Zoey, Socky & Pipit (LOL!)). SIL said this kitten still need to be fed with bread and milk, hand-fed.

Whoever done this to this poor helpless animal, I wish someday you will suffer what this kitten encountered - hunger, want and alone.

I had been wondering about the pitiful wail of a small kitten, maybe 2 of them for 3 days, especially at nights. Thought that my neighbor might be having new kittens in their home, I tried to make myself better by thinking they just being ignorant and left the kitten outside the house because they want to save the trouble from clearing the mess that the kittens must had made.

This morning, it's wrong altogether. What we found is a small kitten (the other one can't be found), not yet opened its eyes and apparently still needs its mother. No wonder it been wailing for 3 days due to hunger and want. It has been left to die just like that.

For now, we're keeping him in the cage where it used to be Henry the hamster's. Doubt that it could survive without its mother. I had to ask for my SIL to take him today and tried to put it with any mother cats that still nursing little kittens at her place. I hope this works.

To the person who dump this poor helpless animal, next time if you don't wish to keep this kitten, would appreciate if you just approach us and let us know if you don't want to keep them, just let them grew a little bit bigger and then give it to us!

Update @ 12:42pm:

We heard another wailing sound and found another kitten not far from the first one was found. My SIL already taken them and we planned to put them with one of her nursing mother cats and see if she would adopt them. *fingers crossed*
