So you delivered other people's letters to our place sometimes.  It's okay.

Sometimes the letters we expected came a little late.  It's okay.

Those guys with motorbikes enduring sun and rain to deliver, it was hard.  I understand.

Here's the story happened to me a while ago....this van arrived, honked in front of my gate.  Just as I reached the grill, I saw the boxed parcel rolled into my front porch.  The delivery guy took a glance at me, as if he just did a slam dunk, get into the van and drove off.  No word of apologies, nothing.

Is that how you do your job???????????  Gosh, you work even worst than the newspaper delivery guy!  I don't care what reason you had with you.  You can always put a notice "no one pick up parcel" and let us collect it ourselves at the post office if we have to!  But NOT THROWING IT like a piece of rubbish!

Come on lah, POS MALAYSIA.  We paid for the service even if it's just a 30cent stamp.  Please train your staff to be more efficient and be at least nicer to our parcels that we had been waiting and expected to arrive in good condition.
p/s:  Thank godness the items inside is still in good shape.  No damages done.  But they sure had tarnished their own image by giving such a bad service!
Due to some circumstances and some problems arise by some party about my photos, I decided to give my humble Canon a rest till further notice.  Some pix, (if any) uploaded here will be taken via my trusted Sony digital camera.

Am too upset to say anything about it for now.  Might considering to stop taking photos via my Canon altogether.  We'll see how.

Different people, has different walks of life.  There are the good times, there are the bad times.  Some has tragedy in their lives, some might be living the same thing they went through as any other.  There's time to laugh, time to cry.  There's sometimes a smooth path to walked on, other times the path seem to rough.  We walked, ran, stumbled and fall.  Not once, twice, but so many times.  Some took the fall as a challenge to move on, some just let themselves be...

Below, is a good example why we never gave up when the going gets tough:

22 year old Korean, Sung-Bong Choi is only 5 when he was forced to live on his own.  He has no family and lived homeless on the streets for 10 years.  When children at that age snuggled comfortably in their warm beds on cold nights or from the winter breeze, he slept on the stairs or public toilets.  Somehow, he managed to get into high school and learn to sing!

While most of us might think most homeless children might ended up as the hoodlums to the society, he had proved otherwise.  I learnt that the world is unfair, but God is good.

Sung-Bong Choi, I wish you all the best and may you became the inspiration to everyone out there who already gave up hope to strive for a better life. =)
Been waiting for it since it was purchased on January....and finally....it's already here!  Despite with the heavy rain since this morning, the courier guy arrived safely with my long-awaited parcel:

Thank you GDex!  (pandai thank you sudah...sebab barang sampai!)

Tadaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The tickets to Rainforest World Music Festival is here!
The ticket was purchased via ticketcharge.com since January during the offer (Normal price RM110 per day, event is for 3 days, but we got it at RM180 for 3 days' pass!  Good bargain huh?)

Note:  If you are into concerts or events, you may visit ticketcharge and see if there's any events that you would like to attend.  Sometimes they have an early bird promotion price just like my pass to the festival. =)  Also, thank you to Debbie of ticketcharge for your promt reply to my email and the fast delivery of my pass to arrive safely. (Just within 2 days after I reply their email to reconfirm my address!)

Now you all know where I will be going next month!  ^_^V
I can't wait! La...la....la....~~~~  =p

Again, a belated post.

I was in KL again last week for the International Super Seven Championship held in Putrajaya.  After the tournament weekend, SmallKucing invited me to join her and Cleffairy for dinner on 31/05/2011 in Wadi Al-Nile Restaurant at Platinum Walk, Setapak.  I'm having Arab food, for the first time.

Well, who else but my trusted driver to bring me there?  Anyway, Badman seemed haven't updated his radar so we actually stuck in traffic jams somewhere in between, took the long route towards Setapak, got a 'little' lost (we missed the junction and went further up somewhere) and was late to our 8pm dinner date.

Here's what we had: (Photo credit to SmallKucing)

Mint Tea (RM6 per small pot).
I wonder if the hot water can be refilled like some restaurant do.

This is 'hummus' (RM6), a mixture of chick pea with tahina sauce.  Love the texture of it.

Mulawah bread (RM4).  See SmallKucing up there?  I bet he also blur looking at the size! =p

Kabsah Chicken (Quarter size) - RM10.  Badman picked this too.

SmallKucing's Mamarazi choose the Grill Chicken (Half) - RM15.
Check out that portion!!!!

Well, luckily she warned me about the portion so I pick Lamb Kabsah (Quarter) for RM15.
Still, it came with generous heap of rice and nice chucks of lamb.  Love this one very much, because the lamb is well marinated, tender and it didn't smell.

All the rice dish came with this soup and chilli.  The broth of the soup tasted like been made with tomato puree mix with some other spices in it; it's somewhat sourish but goes well with the rice.  The chili is nice too.

...and washed it all down with mango-flavored fizzy drink, called Fayrouz.
Can't remember the price.  Should be around RM4-RM5.  It has other flavors like raspberry, pineapple and apple.

I was craving for something sweet...too many unfamiliar names on the menu, so just pick one.
This sweet dish is called 'Banana Masood' (RM8) - fried bread mix with cream, topped with honey and banana.  Don't be deceived by the look of it.  This portion alone need 4-5 of us to share!  =p
It's comforting, and I think it almost reminded me of having oats for breakfast, maybe can make this for breakfast too?  Or for baby food?

Generous portions of food at affordable price, nice surroundings, quality food (Cleffairy told us once she saw the restaurant owner rejected a whole bunch of bananas sent to his restaurant, said the goods he requested is not fresh.  This shows that the boss really take the quality of his food seriously!)..you hardly can find it anywhere nowadays.  Yes, I already marked this place in my 'must go to eat' place.  ^_^V

Anyway, before we left, Mamarazi gave me a bag of goodies (forgot to take photo, almost wipe everything clean then I remembered...sigh) - some rice dumplings with chicken fillings that she made by herself; pickled mangoes and keropok....Thank you for the dinner ya.  It's nice to meet you and Cleffairy.  Hope to see you again soon!  ^_^V
