Photo taken in one of the offices I went for meeting.
So...go or no go? =p
Went to watch Ice Age 4 with Bunny, Koko K and Simon.  Well, actually I had been harassing Bunny about it even before it was released and so...I guess he just go ahead with it to keep me quiet.  Hahahahahahaa.... Anyway, the movie was great and I recommend a must watch especially if you are an Ice Age fan!

After the movie, we decided to go for late dinner (popcorns, coke and potato chips didn't count!) at Kedai Kopi Daily, Foh Sang.  Was still raining when we left Suria Sabah and the thought of hot food is very tempting.

Koko K and Simon arrived a little later than us and presented me this:

A box of Osaka Cake from the nearby Walnut Bakery! =)

Cute isn't?  =)

It's soft, sponge cake with smooth milky cream inside.  I read the box it says 'Consume within 3 days' (means it can't be put too long lah) but Bunny said to me, "3 days?! For you it only take 3 hours!!" =.=|||

Thank you Koko K and Simon!! =)
My birthday went just almost every normal day, except that my Facebook notifications, emails, phone calls, SMS-es went double than usual.  And of course, some people treats me nicer than usual, hahahahaa...

Anyway, had dinner at a new place called Beaufort Little Station in Inanam with my siblings and relatives.  My SIL, Tracy gave me a vintage-fashion green beaded bracelet.  We had nice steamboat buffet for dinner, after dinner, Bunny came out with cake.  Unfortunately, the staff put the cake in the FREEZER that caused the chocolate coating of the cake got frozen and I had quite some difficulty trying to cut it in.  Hahaha....sad to say it made the top part cracked all the way and the soft part inside the cake just crumbled when I cut it out....uhuhuhu....well...nothing much to complain about, it still tasted like chocolate cake.  I saved a cut for my Aunty Meg and after the rest had their share of the cake, I gave the other quarter of the cake to the staff. Bil came and the owner graciously minus one person from the bill, for the 'birthday girl' hehehehe... =)

After dinner, me and Bunny went to Ooze at Lintas where Koko K and Simon already waiting.  Simon graciously opened a bottle of his precious ice wine.  Gave a glass to the Ooze lady owner too.  Too bad, their nice cakes is already sold out.  Ordered some snacks to munch while talking till late at night.  Again, the bill came, the snack item was not included, complimentary from the lady boss.  =)

Overall, it's a great day - not because of the freebies I got or the good food or the wine.  It's the people that surrounds me, the people who took the trouble to call me from local and overseas to wish me a happy birthday, the people who remembered and sent their wishes and prayers on my wall and SMSes.  I feel I am loved.  I feel so lucky.

To everyone out there who had wished me a happy birthday, it is a happy one indeed.  Thank you so much!!!
Bunny went outstation for more than a week in Sandakan.  So...during that time, Koko K bring me out for dinner or yam cha (or both), partly so I can hogged on his Ipad and play my Snoopy game and got someone to occupy my time with.  (Bodyguard mah, hahahahaha~)

Anyway, one of the places that we frequented lately is the recently opened cafe in Lintas named Ooze.  I'll properly blog about that place one of these days ok.  Well, one of the things that I love about the place is it's ambiance, nice jazzy music on the background, warm welcome by the pretty hostess and friendly staff.  Won't tell much first la or else my next post about them will no longer a surprise! =p

Recently, Koko K decided to try their cheesecakes.  Here's what we had tasted (pardon for the photo quality.  Am just using my humble camera phone - will take proper photos next time):

Cheese sponge cake
Tasted light and generous heaps of cheese in it.
The top part is sprinkled with cheddar cheese.

Oreo cheesecake.
Not exactly to my liking, 3 small bites and I let Koko K finished the rest.  I think there's too much cheese in it (kalau sikit pun complain...apa la si bear...)  Well, unless you are a cheese fan, you definitely will love this.

Oh well, nonetheless, we still love it there anyway.  Hopefully there will be more cakes to try next time!

Note: above comment is based on my personal preferences.  It might differ from different people. =p

Been slacking in my blog lately.  I don't know why...so many times that I wanted to type something and in the end, I stared blankly at the screen for couple of minutes or so...then close the window.  More active in Facebook and Twitter, very seldom appeared online in chats as well.  (Getting old? LOL)

Anyway, during the previous Harvest Festival holidays (yes, a MONTH ago), Bunny and I went to Labuan with a bunch of our friends, spent a night at Papaya's Lodge, owned by Bunny's friend.

This place is still new.

Yours truly, as usual...

We were told that every room has different theme.  Mine & Bunny's is 'Rockstar' =)
The wallpapers has images of anything that relates with rockstars.  Owh, every room is equipped with fan, air-condition, clean bathroom.  They even got hot water.

Wonder what is so funny... =p

No visit to Labuan will be complete without any of these....

Stalking a local fishing....

The rest playing beach volleyball.

...or is it playing in the sand?

Goofing around~ =p

Simon choose to become the referee.

hahahahahahaa~

Yours truly went looking for seashells =)

Can't get away from the iPad =p

Guys having fun in the sea~

Their crazy antiques =p

Sweet! =)

The lodge's staff preparing our dinner...we requested for BBQ. =)

One of the guests there serenade us with his sax.

Our dinner =)

a bunch of hungry people~ hahahahahaa...

We spent the rest of the night sitting by the beach, circling the fire, have some drink and talked.  It is very quiet and peaceful there.  Apart from the sand flies (should have bring insect repellent), I love that place.  Will definitely going back there again someday.
