Happiness on Someone's Sadness

Couple years ago, a couple celebrated their marriage, witnessed by God, friends and family who wished them well. Sign and sealed, for sickness and health, happiness and sadness, till death do them apart.

Marriage seem like a bliss. Then suddenly, it came without warning. The next thing the wife knew, he told her that he is leaving her for someone else. Close friends, relatives, families tried to reconcile them...but he is still stick with his decision. Worst still, he proudly paraded his new girlfriend around, some more showing off her 'love marks' to his wife. Imagine how the wife could cope with those...

The other woman, too...seem like didn't care for the suffering wife (why would she, right?). She even told the man how to divorce his wife and gave him an instruction how to go about it! So after almost 2 years of trying to save her marriage, the poor wife finally give up and sign the divorce papers.

As if her suffering is not enough, soon afterwards, the woman called the wife and told her, "I want to get married with him. But my family wouldn't allow us unless I can get you to forgive me and give us your blessing." I was furious when I heard that. How could she? Is she stupid? She broke a marriage and now asking the person whom was hurt deeply caused by this 2 selfish people - now she's asking this poor woman to forgive her and give her blessing so that they can get married??? Blessing, my foot! She would be lucky that she didn't get a slap for that!

However, blessing or no blessing, forgive or not, the marriage still goes on. I was even invited to the wedding via the Facebook 'Events' invitation. I was like, what was she trying to prove? First this woman stole someone's husband and this man just divorced his wife couple months ago and now they proudly inviting people to their coming wedding (this weekend, in fact), telling the world how happy they are - to build their happiness on top of someone's sadness??

As for the first wife, she is now trying to move on as best as she could with her life, alone (they have no children). Deep inside, she is still hoping, wishing that someone day he would come back to his senses and will return back to her - keeping her marriage vow sacred and hold it close to her, maybe as long as she live - as any God fearing faithful Catholic wife would do.

I know that if that selfish couple decided to get married, they eventually will do it anyway. But putting it to the public for everyone to see - it's not really something that you both should be proud of. A husband stealer married to a wife dumper - you proud of that?? Your friends might don't know. But some of us knew. I wish that they will be at least be a little sensitive to the person who suffers from this.

Well...we just hope that karma won't get to them, right? Sometimes, what been done - it will return back ten folds.

For that woman...I wish you would at least have a little guilt in your heart that you have hurt your own kind. Wish you can hold him this time - though I doubt that...hopefully I was wrong then.
