Even 15 minutes before the clock strikes 12 midnight, my housing area already been awakened by the sounds of firecrackers here and there, causing lots of stress to our dogs.  Then suddenly, loud bangs soar in the sky, with the sounds of "Waaaaaaaahhhhhh~~~~~~" amidst of it, and we knew the annual fire works to mark the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit has begun.  So, I took my cam and walked outside the house, hoping to catch some sparks:

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! ^_^V

Hi AngelBear, Wow! Great shots! Hey...you're a good photographer....you caught the beautiful explosions very well....your hands very steady too.
Outstanding!

Love the colours....I bet must have been very loud too.
Pity here in Toronto its just a normal working day.
Only at Chinese malls can see lion dance or get the New year feeling.
Wishing you the very best of the Rabbit year,
have fun.
Lee.
