Ichigo's Near Death Experience

dirty face...forgot to clean it up...

I almost lost Ichigo for good this morning. Apparently she followed my aunt to feed the dogs at the back this morning and suddenly the dogs just charged at her, and she scampered away to the corners of the boxes that contains old books. I spent almost 2 hours looking for her, worried and almost gave up when my aunt spotted her poke out her face quietly among the boxes. She was traumatized and shivering when I carried her into my arms and placed her in the basket with her favorite pillow.

The poor thing hardly got any peaceful sleep, and everytime she would toss and turned and woke up as if having a bad dream. But just now, she seemed to ease up a bit and had her dinner, then lay on the newspaper and sleep. Felt like I wanted to pick her up and place her back in her basket but then, I changed my mind and let her where she is.

What a day. This is her 2nd narrow escape with dogs. The first time is when my aunt's dog, Pinky crept into the house (someone forgot to close the gril), spot Ichigo sleeping near the shoe rack and when my sister went into the living room, she saw Ichigo was already in Pinky's jaws, didn't even make a sound or stir. When Pinky saw my sister, he immediately dropped Ichigo and went out. Ichigo spent the whole day hiding under the refrigerator that day.

She got 7 more lives left and hopefully this morning's ordeal will be the last. Couldn't afford to lose another pet again. Huhuhu....
