Back then when I was small, to be able to celebrate birthday is a luxury for us, which...I don't recall any so called 'big celebration' that time.  But still, I do recall some childhood memories that still makes me smile whenever someone reminds me of it.

Ah...those times whenever the days where 'teda karan' (no electricity) especially at nights.  Once the lights is on again, we would sing 'Happy Birthday' song before blew the candles out (though, it wasn't anyone's candle anyway).  Hahahahaha...!

Hahahaah... I used to celebrate my birthday every years. maybe bcoz my bday is 2 days before xmas so it's a xmas party as well. So, no 'bday party' during teda karan. hehehehe... But, we enjoy the hand-arts-shadow time teda karan! kikiki...
